Y: Mr. Maru, do you know Ms. Jenny?
M: Yes, I do know her very well.
M: I've met her at a birthday party before.
Y: Mr. Maru, how many foreigners do you know?
M: Not sure.
M: I haven't counted but I think over 100.
Y: You know that many? You have many acquaintances.
M: That’s why people call me ‘a networker’.

M: I bought something on the street yesterday but it broke already.
Y: Oh no, when you buy something on the street you have to be careful.
Y: They are often poor in quality.
M: When I heard their explanation, it seemed fine.
Y: It's sales skill. Don't be misled.
M: I think I’m easily swayed.
M: I keep buying useless junk and regret it later.

M: Why is there so much Japchae?
Y: My mother made Japchae a lot.
M: I'd appreciate it if you would.
M: But is it ok to give me so much?
Y: My mother makes way more than is needed.
Y: If you want more, let me know.
M: Thank you. I’ll eat it well.

M: I was narrow-minded.
